He holds a doctorate in economics (Dr. OEC) and is the grandson of the company’s founder, Severino Antonini. He graduated from the university of St. Gallen and in 1954 succeeded his father to the management of the trust company.
In the following years, he obtained a doctorate in economics from the University of Fribourg.
Among the many offices held in the course of his professional career, it is worth mentioning his office of Consul of Sweden in the Canton of Ticino, which he held from 1956 until 1995.
